Pests and Diseases of Agricultural Important

In the past , farmers grew several types of crops on their farms. This practice kept pest and diseases under control.

   However, today, a large percentage of agricultural land is under monoculture. The growing of the same type of plant, year after year, allows its pests and the diseases to continue living and breeding unchecked. The same thing applies to livestock rearing. Today, control of agricultural pests and diseases are important practices , especially in commercial farming.
