Factors Affecting Terrestrial Habitats

In a terrestrial habitat , the land is the main dwelling place of the biotic community. The main factors here are the land surface and the soil. Relative humidity is the additional climatic factor that operates here and in arboreal habitats.

Other abiotic factors that affect terrestrial habitats include rainfall, temperature, wind, light, pressure and pH.
