Pressure varies from the depths of ocean to the higher altitudes of the atmosphere. Atmospheric pressure decreases as we go up from sea Lev. In the oceans, the pressure increases by 1.03kg/m2 every 10m. Organisms found at depths of about 400m live in conditions of enormous pressures, but they are well adapted to such conditions and cannot survive near the surface waters where the pressure is much lower.
