• Mastic movement - Non directional - Non directional movement of parts of plants , due to changes in cell turgor and growth rate

• Taxis - Directional - Directional movement of motile organisms or motile part of organisms towards stimuli (positive) or away from it (negative)

• Tropism - Directional - Directional growth movements of parts of plants towards stimuli (positive) or away from it (negative)
