Speaking In Tongues Not A Gift To All Members Of The Church

   It is not every member of the church that has gift of speaking in tongues. The gift possessed by some members of the church mag not be possessed by the others.

Scriptural Reference

"And those whom God has appointed in the church are firstly, apostles. Secondly, prophets, thirdly teachers, after them, miraculous powers; the gifts of healing; helpful acts, " guidance" various kinds of tongues. Are all of them apostles? Or all are prophets or teachers? Or all miracle workers, do all have the gift of healing? Do all of  them speak in tongues and all interpret them? 1Cor. 12:28-30.

   From the above scriptural reference, it is wrong to think or to teach that every born again person (every baptised person) must be able to speak in tongues. Speaking in tongues as a gift of the holy spirit to the church is only given to some members of the church at will BH God. Other members have other gifts which those who have the gift of speaking in tongues may not have.
