Marketers play several roles in helping their company defend and deliver high quality goods and services to target customers.

1. First, they bear the major responsibilities of correctly identifying the customers' needs and requirements.

2. Second, they must communicate customer expectations correctly to produce designers.

3. Third, they must make sure that the customers orders are filled correctly and on time.

4. Fourth, they must check that customers have received proper instructions, training, and technical assistance in the use of the product.

5. Fifth, they must stay in touch with customers after the sales to ensure that they are satisfied and remain satisfied.

6. Sixth, they must gather customers ideas for product and service improvements and convert them to the appropriate company departments.
